Two men were fatally shot in Van Nuys, and police Wednesday were looking for three or four suspects who fled the scene.
Police responded to a shots fired call in the 15300 block of Wyandotte Street about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and located two men on the front porch of a residence who had suffered gunshot wounds, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
One victim died at the scene and the second victim later died at a hospital. Information on their identities was not immediately released.
“Witnesses reported hearing an argument in the front porch of the residence,” an LAPD statement said. “They heard gunshots and observed 3-4 males running away. The suspects entered a sedan parked on the street. The vehicle drove away east on Wyandotte Street.”
Anyone with information on the case was urged to call homicide investigators at 818-374-1925; 877-LAPD-24-7, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
