Britain’s Got Talent fans are seriously obsessed with epic magic trick involving Simon Cowell’s son Eric: ‘The tears are streaming’

Britain’s Got Talent fans are already seriously obsessed after tonight’s episode in which an intricate magic trick involved Simon Cowell’s son Eric.

Magician James Piper managed to make it a family affair as he and his own son Dylan performed the trick live on stage.

After asking the music mogul to pick a dream Christmas present, a random card from a full deck and the name of the person who means the most to him.

Simon looked on, clearly getting the thrill of his life, as his first pick of a jet ski from the Christmas list saw a picture unveiled of the music mogul and his son riding a jet ski.

The Syco boss was so impressed, he even invited six-year-old Eric up onto the stage to give his critiques, and viewers at home just couldn’t handle it.

‘Wow that was incredible,’ one fan wrote. ‘I love magic and this act is the reason why I love it so much it. Now that is magic.’

Another clearly enamoured viewer added: ‘Oh, Eric’s here, now the tears are streaming.’

It is a highly emotional time for us all, and this certainly didn’t help matters.

‘That was really, really special,’ Simon beamed. ‘I love the fact it was a family affair and everything linked to him and I. I really liked the presentation.

‘It was a really great audition for all of you.’

Of course, James and Dylan got a ‘yes’ from all four judges so the question now is…which judge’s child do they use to pluck on our heartstrings next?

Elsewhere tonight, we saw dance troupe X1X make a great first impression – are we looking at the new Diversity?

Former judge Piers Morgan also got in on the fun, posting a cheeky throwback to the first-ever series of the show.

Britain’s Got Talent returns next week at 8pm on ITV
