Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Guidice is heartbroken that he can’t spend the Easter holiday with his four daughters: Gia, 19, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10. The 47-year-old has been sharing family pictures over the weekend on Instagram, and he revealed in one post that he had to cancel his plans to reunite with his daughters because of COVID-19.
Giudice is currently in Italy while he waits for the final decision in his deportation appeal, and his daughters are in New Jersey with their mom, Teresa Giudice. It has been a difficult week for the family as they had to say goodbye to Teresa’s dad, Giacinto Gorga, who passed away earlier this month.
“For , my family and I were to reunite instead the unthinkable happened, not a day, hour, min. goes by that I don’t think about the girls,” wrote Joe in the caption of one post. “Special occasions are the hardest without them it feels emptier and less joyful.”
Joe told his followers that he has “felt overwhelmed with emotions,” so he wanted to share his feelings while missing his daughters. Joe wrote that his heart breaks for anyone who can’t see their kids, wife, or parents. He says this experience has reinforced the idea that he should never take anything for granted, especially his girls.
Joe and Teresa split last December after 20 years of marriage, and she recently started the divorce proceedings.
The father of four has posted numerous pics over the holiday weekend, and he also shared a video montage of past Easter celebrations. He also posted some RHONJ throwback footage that featured a younger Milania giving Joe and Teresa problems during an Easter family photo shoot. Joe did reveal that he was able to enjoy a Zoom video call with his daughters for the holiday.

Joe Giudice has also been keeping his fans up-to-date on the situation in Italy, as COVID-19 has hit the country extremely hard. In March, Joe shot a video of an empty village and said that everything was closed.
“But, you know, we gotta do what we gotta do,” he continued. “It sucks, but it is what it is. Be safe, wash your hands.”
