Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s Latest Hair Style Has Caused A Divide In Bachelor Nation

Bachelor alum Arie Luyendyk Jr. has been isolating with his wife Lauren Burnham and their one-year-old daughter, Alessi Ren, during the COVID-19 pandemic. And, the couple has been keeping themselves entertained by playing with different hairstyles and colors and posting the results on social media. However, Luyendyk’s latest look has Bachelor nation completely divided because it was such a drastic change.

Earlier this week, Luyendyk shocked fans when he posted a pic of his new platinum blonde hair, which he called “a vibe” in the caption. Before he posted a pic of the results, Luyendyk shared on his Instagram Stories that Burnham was working hard to get the right shade of blonde. At first, his hair was a little bit too orange and she apologized and said she would get it darker with some toner the next day.

It’s a vibe.

In the results pic, the former race car driver wore a long-sleeve t-shirt and shorts while sitting by the pool, but fans immediately noticed that Luyendyk was holding his phone and the screen was full of similar photos.

“Those were the ‘before pics,'” Luyendyk admitted to one fan who commented about the numerous photos on his phone, adding that he was “kinda feelin” his blonde hair.

Of course, the comments came quickly, with former Bachelor Bob Guiney writing that the new hair color was a “well played vibe.” Jared Haibon added, “Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?” and Tayshia Adams said that she was “really diggin” the look.

Some fans thought the new hair color made Luyendyk look “younger,” and told him to keep it. Others were impressed with Burnham’s haircut and color skills, and one called him a good sport for letting his wife cut and dye his hair. “You’re a brave man,” wrote the fan.

However, there were fans who missed Luyendyk’s signature salt-and-pepper hair and begged him to bring it back. One fan simply wrote “Nope,” while another added that he should “bring back that silvaaa” with the hashtags #silverfox and #distinguished.

Last month, Luyendyk and Burnham dyed their hair in pastel colors to celebrate Easter and they posted pics on Instagram and a video of the dye process on YouTube.
