50 Cent Slams Meek Mill As A ‘Hypocrite’ Amid His Prison Reform Work

Meek Mill and 50 Cent haven’t always been the greatest of friends, Hot New Hip Hop reported today. The outlet says that the pair of rappers have duked it out for a long time, and at one point, it really seemed like they had moved on.

However, now that Tekashi 6ix9ine and DJ Akademiks are coming for Meek Mill, 50 Cent has chosen to participate in the battle as well. In case you missed it, for the last month, Tekashi 6ix9ine has been making waves in the headlines for not only his succession of new singles but also his comments on Meek Mill and other rappers in the industry.

Following his release from prison regarding his racketeering case, Meek Mill and other artists put Tekashi 6ix9ine on blast for ratting out his former associates in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

50 Cent doesn’t think Meek Mill is perfect either, however. During a recent appearence on Young Money Radio, the rapper pointed out some details which he thinks show a line of moral inconsistency.

50 Cent asked Wayne how Meek Mill could be representing prison reform while at the same time being signed by a correctional officer and managed by a former snitch. Once the clip made its way around social media, Tekashi 6ix9ine chimed in on the debate.

6ix9ine wrote that Meek Mill should keep the same energy he had for DJ Akademiks when calling out 50 Cent, alongside a few emojis.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, this comment was a jab at Meek Mill and Rick Ross, the head of his record label, who 50 Cent has been beefing with for years. Meek Mill responded on his account by claiming they were all trying to gang up on him and Rick Ross.

Earlier this year, Tekashi 6ix9ine was on his Instagram to point out to Meek Mill who has supposedly been working with a record label executive who acted as a federal informant. It was all part of 6ix9ine’s retaliation against Meek for calling him a rat.
