Two people were killed in a crash on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Van Nuys, authorities said Wednesday.
The accident was reported at 11:54 p.m. Tuesday on the northbound San Diego Freeway at the Burbank Boulevard off-ramp, California Highway Patrol Officer Dion Conley said.
No further details were available, Conley said.
Paramedics and firefighters dispatched to the location at 11:59 p.m. did not take anyone to the hospital, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A Sigalert was issued for the far right lane at Burbank Boulevard for the crash investigation and cleanup. The lanes were reopened about 4:50 a.m.
