A woman was killed Thursday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Baldwin Park, and the suspect was being sought.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, which occurred on Puente Avenue between Francisquito Avenue and the San Bernardino (10) Freeway about 1:30 a.m., according to Baldwin Park police.
Information on her identity was not immediately available, but KTLA5 reported the woman was homeless and was known in the neighborhood.
She was hit while pushing a shopping cart across the street, Channel 5 reported.
A detailed description of the suspect vehicle was not available.
