Man Expected to Survive Wounds in Possible Gang-Related LB Shooting

A man suffered two non-life-threatening gunshot wounds during a possible gang-related shooting in Long Beach, police said Sunday.

The shooting occurred a little before midnight Saturday in the 6300 block of Long Beach Boulevard, the Long Beach Police Department reported.

Officers dispatched to the scene located the man suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper and lower torso.

Police had no details of what led up to the shooting.

The Long Beach Police Department’s Gang Enforcement Section urged anyone with information regarding the shooting to call them at 562-570-7370 or LA Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
