Jennifer Aniston has urged her fans and friends to wear their masks in public amid an uprising among American citizens claiming is ‘violates their rights’.
It’s been recommended that everyone wear face masks while out in public to prevent the spread of coronavirus, which has caused 129,000 deaths.
In total, there have been 2.67million cases in the US alone – but despite this members of the public think their civil rights are being threatened by being told to wear one while around others.
Posting a photo of herself in her mask, Jennifer begged fans to see sense and not to politicise something that could save lines.
She said: ‘I understand masks are inconvenient and uncomfortable.

‘But don’t you feel that it’s worse that businesses are shutting down… jobs are being lost… health care workers are hitting absolute exhaustion. And so many lives have been taken by this virus because we aren’t doing enough? [sic]’
‘I really do believe in the basic goodness of people so I know we can all do this,’ the Friends star continued.
‘BUT still, there are many people in our country refusing to take the necessary steps to flatten the curve, and keep each other safe.’
‘People seem worried about their “rights being taken away” by being asked to wear a mask,’ she concluded.
‘This simple and effective recommendation is being politicized at the expense of peoples’ lives. And it really shouldn’t be a debate.
‘If you care about human life, please… just #wearadamnmask and encourage those around you to do the same.’
Reese Witherspoon, Matt Bomer, Julia Robers and Olivia Wilde send their well-wishes and support for the statement.
Across the world, 10.5million people have been confirmed to have had coronavirus, with more than half a million people losing their lives to the infection.
Maybe be there for your friends just this once?
